multicenter-international-RCT-8400 patients-ACS.This presentation refers to the first of the three randomization of the study, the access site one (radial versus femoral).
In brief, the primary endpoints of NACE and MACE were reduced by the radial approach. There was also a significant reduction in the all-cause mortality with this access.
The conclusions were that radial approach should become the first choice in ACS patients undergoing invasive management.
